As the Bay City Rollers hit the road again we take a look at the band through the years

Dig out your tartan, the Bay City Rollers are back on tour.

Bay City Rollers fans were delighted to learn they're back on tour again. Starting with the MacMoray Festival in Elgin on Saturday, followed by dates in Germany, Dumfries, Carlisle and Wimborne.

The Tartan-clad, 70's pop stars shot to fame with hits like "Bye bye baby", "Shang-A-Lang", "Saturday Night" and "Summer Love Sensation", there last reunion tour selling out in record time.

The Edinburgh band had world wide fame and were thought of as the One Direction of their time. Despite it's changing line up the band are still adored over 50 years on.

Bay City Roller Les McKeown dead at age 65 leaving family and friends of band devastated

Front man Les McKeown passed away in 2021, age 65, leaving family and friends of the band devastated. The current line up; original guitarist Stuart "Woody" Wood, lead singer Ian Thomson, drummer Jamie McGrory, and bassist Mikey Smith.
